Videos
The biggest challenge with Allie is getting her to wake up to eat. Some how even a wet rag and hand in the face won't wake her up. Here is Jonathan helping me to wake her up. Sometimes its impossible.
Isaac is really warming up to Allie. He likes to try and pick her up and sit with her in her chair and he even likes to share with her. This video shows how he is very loving but still a little boy. : )

Alexandra Debra-Marie Ramos
Baby Allie has arrived! 7 lbs 2 oz 19 inches long. June 23rd 12:54 pm. She is very healthy and loves to sleep. I started contractions over 6 weeks ago. Once Allie was full term they just said come in when the contractions are painful regular and 4 minutes apart. So wednesday (yesterday the 23rd) morning I woke up to a painful contraction around 6 am. Then at 7 we started to time them and by 8 we knew we were in labor. Luckily we called Jonathan's mom (and thankfully she was able to come) just in time because she was arriving as we were leaving for the hospital. The contractions were 4 minutes apart and unbearably painful. But by the time we got to the hospital (about a 20 minute drive)the contractions had slowed and even become irregular - although still intensely painful. We realized that on the way Pamela had been drinking water and resting and that we should probably wait for them to build back up again. So we drove home and relaxed. After about an hour and a half of random contractions (up to 20 minutes apart) Pamela had 3 in a row 3 minutes apart. By the last one Pamela said, "we need to go to the hospital now." 24 minutes later Allie was born. We drove as quick as possible to the hospital and the contractions became all lumped together as one. The pain was constant and the only way I could tell the beginning of a new contraction was that I could feel Allie start to push her way through the birth canal! Jonathan pulled up to the front and grabbed a wheel chair. While waiting for me to get out of the car i yelled, "I need help! I am giving birth now!" That's when a loving husband picked me up and wheeled me in. I was practically delirious with pain. They through me on the hospital bed, and told me not to push until the dr came. Luckily that was very soon and with 90 seconds of pushing Allie was born! It was incredible. Giving birth without an epidural was well worth it. (I think I can only say that because it was less than a half an hour, but its true) Everything was so real and painful. I had really suffered for Allie, and all the stuff that came next was such a breeze. I've been feeling great since she was born and I am grateful that i got to really be a part of the birth. We are grateful that we made it to the hospital on time, that Jonathan's mom is watching Isaac and that she could come on such short notice, we're Jonathan's breaks went out last week instead of yesterday and of course, that Allie is healthy and here with us! Isaac doesn't seem to like her but it would be hard to understand why mommy is on a bed with a little wiggler and won't hold you. He'll get used to her, and if he doesn't we'll just spoil him and he can get over it.
We love Isaac
Mr. Mischeif! We laugh so hard when he gets into trouble that he's started to laugh when he knows he's done something he shouldn't. There are some things like getting into the supply of Ramen that are to be expected. But when i tuck all the chairs under the table and pulls a chair out to climb on the table I am amazed! How do you even stop something like that?! And thats one reason why we love him. I've been letting him use his own utensils. You may think you don't see any mischief in the picture of him with the yogurt until you see the big bruise on his cheek! And fell into the doorway. Poor kid - he's so tough. He can reach the doornob, but luckily can't open the door. Sometimes he wears Jonathan's hats and it is the cutest thing i've ever seen. I've even taught him to say, "ya ya ya ya ya ya" like a rapper when I put the hat on him. His communication has sky rocketed. He understand a lot of what we say and can connect phrases with different situations like telling us he's all done. We go to the pool all the time and he loves it. He loves getting wet and splashing and watching the other kids run around.

Summer time
Isaac is missing his best friend! We finished watching Liesie 1.5 weeks ago. He has made friends with Bear and Ernie, but their just no the same. Last week was filled with so many errands so I'm trying to make it up to Isaac by making this a week of fun. We've been having fun at the pool and playing in his new train! Jonathan got Isaac a giant play train with his rewards points at work. (along with a upconverting dvd player). The train is so big Isaac can walk around in it. You can climb through the back and all 4 wheels. Daddy is the most fun because he can crawl threw all the holes, but mommy is pretty good at peeking her head through the wheels and windows! Pamela can still come through the back and sick in the engineers spot. I'm sure we'll take pictures - its pretty fun. Isaac got a new crib too! This one converts into a toddler bed so we figured we better get him used to it and give Allie Isaac's other crib - especially since it converts into a basinet and has a changing table attached. The new crib is really nice. Jonathan takes his big Series 7 test to become a liscensed broker at the end of the month. He has been studying like crazy. It seems he can never get away from having a ton on his plate! On Memorial day Jason Julie and Liesie came over for a bbq and pool time. It was lots of fun. Liesie said she might need some time getting used to the pool but its okay if Mom holds her. Isaac is content even just watching people at the pool. On Sunday he was very tired but wouldn't go to bed. He was happy just to sit in a lawn chair (they have kids ones - soooo cute!) and watch the other kids swimming. But he still loves swimming and taking baths which is great because it is way to hot in Texas!

Ultrasound Pictures
Baby Allie! I had an ultrasound to check position and size and it was great! I saw her little face and hair and we even caught her playing with her feet! We were looking at her little feet and then came her hand! She kept puckering out her little lips and then stuck her toungue out! She has lots of thick hair, a filipino nose and big wide lips. One of the pictures is of her hair. You are looking at the back of her head and on the top of her head you can see what looks like grass going verticly in the middle of the page next to the "hair" label. Another picture is of her face where you can mostly only see her nose and her puckered lips. The other is of her face, she is turned a little to the side and its a great picture! She was looking right at us and then snuggled to the side. It was incredable. She is turned upside down weighs about 5 lb 12 oz and is breathing already! They practice moving their lungs so their ready when they get air in them! So she is doing really well, and is absolutly adorable. Pamela's contractions are continuing strong so we predict a baby in the near future, although she's not due for another four weeks so we'll see!

Finally the Update
Things are going very well! We are finally all moved in! Our walls are painted and we even have some pictures up! Jonathan suprized me by painting the bathroom blue and we painted the living room together. We helped Jason and Julie paint Annaliesie's soon-to-be room - so i think we have done a lot of painting. But they all look fantastic! We really like our apartment. Its pretty quiet, we love the pool, the kitchen is nice and we have a big garden tub. Isaac loves to take baths in the giant tub. He heard me filling it up the other day and threw a fit that he wasn't allowed in yet. Throwing fits is a new thing for him. It think its pretty funny. He just throws him self on the floor cries and wriggles around, then after like 15 seconds he's done and continues on his way. He is such a good boy. The other day i was snuggling with Liesie to put her to sleep on the couch and her pacifier fell out. I asked Isaac to get it and he picked it up and put it in her mouth. He is very good at sharing and understands more and more of what we say. He can say "night night" "done" and "hi" in addition to the normal mmama dada stuff. He usually chooses not to talk, and sometimes not to listen. He is pretty funny. He just pretends he doesn't know what we're talking about, but seeing as he obeyed the last 3 times we know he's ignoring us! He is very good with 'come here' 'out' 'go get dada' 'get my shoe' 'no no' 'done' 'hugs' and 'kisses' He has been giving mama lots of kisses latley! Usually i say 'kisses' and he puts his forhead out for me to kiss, but latley he has even given me some kisses of his own! He likes to walk around the store by himself and touch everything. He loves to feed Annaliese. Its pretty funny. He likes to take her bottle or pacifier so that he can put it in her mouth himself. He'll even walk over to her booster seat and take food off the tray and put it in her mouth. I think he will love to help take care of baby Aliie. Annaliese is quite advanced. She is 5 months younger than Isaac but can do a lot of what he can. She doesn't exactly listen to orders, but she can walk and read books really well!
Jonathan's new job is going very well! He loves watching the market and making trades. In the recent falling of the market Jonathan bet against the market and made $700 dollars in one day! I don't feel like we're bragging because we lost a comparable amount from the market falling right before that. He might get transfered to a new office closer to our apartment. That would be exellent as it would shorten the commute time and we would get to see eachother more! Sometimes evenings fly as we eat dinner, run to the store and put Isaac to bed. But we've also been having lots of fun, going to the pool, decorating and watching movies on our new 46" flatscreen lcd tv that Jonathan's parents got him for a graduation present. Its really big. On the weekends we have lots of fun with family. We drive down to Plano for fun things like a Mother's day Luncheon or birthday parties and we skip over to Jason and Julie's so that the boys can watch sports or we can help eacother out with projects. Its really nice to have family close by.
Allie is a bit like Isaac already. Pamela has had to go to the hospital 2x for pre-term contractions. They've gotten as bad as 90 seconds long with only 15 seconds between them. The Dr said they're real labor contractions, but I'm not in labor so just come back if the contractions do. They haven't been as bad latley, but they certainly prevent a good nights rest! Pamela doesn't mean to wake Jonathan up but i guess misery loves company. The hospital dr. predicted allie comin' in about a week or two! The crazy thing about it is that she still could come in a 5 weeks (her due date) so we have to be prepared, but know it could still be a while. We figure she's like Isaac and will probably come in 2 weeks.
Well with all that has happened, that is the ramos family update!

Here are Isaac and Annaliese dancing and laughing. I've been trying to teach Isaac nursury rhymes and there actions, i think it will take a while, but he seems to be responding well. Isaac and Annaliese have become very good friends. They scream dada back and forth and laugh and laugh together. I'm trying to hide the camera so they won't get distracted, thats why you see them over the lunchbox. Along with being really good friends they have certainly started to pick on eachother. What are friends for right?
