The Youth Performance and Youth Conference I was helping with was awesome! Their performance was great. Lots of singing and dancing and you could tell they were having a great time. After it was all over they had a testimony meeting that I went to and it was so great to hear about how much they loved the weekend and now they have a stronger testimony of Jesus Christ and the church. It was fantastic. I loved it. And people at church were so good to us and to thank us for all our work gave us gift cards and free babysitting. So we went on a Date to the theater last weekend and went out to eat at Five Elements Bar and Grill and then went out for Ice cream. It was really fun. I am grateful people were so generous and thoughtful and we had a lot of fun. Isaac is so smart and I am loving it. Today he helped me make dinner and set the table. Although one plate did end up in the transh can - at least it was his. : ) He has suprised me as we go places and he points to the fruit and names them or points to the monkey and says, "ee ee ooh oh" He even knows a lot of letters. He has been very sweet to Allie too. Sharing and feeding her and playing with her. Jonathan challenged us to never get angry and always speak kindly. You can be stern but not upset. We're obviously not perfect but am Loving the results. I am sooo happy and a lot less stressed. Isaac fits have gone down and he is sweeter. Allie only walks now and is really attached to me. My new trick is to pick her up and stand so boringly that she wants down. She is allowed to grow up now because we are having another baby! We are due next March. We have been busy with appointments but make sure to still swim at least every other day. It is sooo hot! But I love swimming so I"m okay with it. Our sweet patio helps keep us nice and cool inside for less! We are doing great. Our kids are cute as ever and we love them more each day!

I may have taken a few too many pictures this weekend. : ) Allie is one year old! Go Allie! She hasn't had the best turning of age with 4 shots, her blood drawn and a 3 day long fever, but she did have a great weekend! Her Birthday party was great. We got in the pool and fired up the grill and watched Tangled. The boys had a video game bonanza. It was lots of fun and the food was great. We were going to throw another party on Forth of July but conveniently someone else threw a party and invited all the same people so we all decided to go there insted (they weren't as the same time but I was glad for the excuse not to host or buy food for another party.) They had chicken and stake fajitas a big pool and a playground in their backyard. It was awesome. We all had fun but especially Isaac. He played with 2 boys his age and they had non-stop fun on the playground. We went to a flag raising in the morning and Isaac was in the bike Parade. He was in Heaven. Riding his red BMW all around the parking lot instead of the living room. Then we went to a morning pool party and then the pool party I just mentioned. We had the best day. Isaac loved it the most.
Potty training is going well, he's been able to keep a clean diaper in the morning time. He knows a lot more objects then I thought. He doesn't always respond when we work on things with him but then he knows what they are later. I guess its sinking in!
Allie is a great walker. She can walk the whole length of the room and turn around. She still chooses to crawl most of the time. She says more words and I think she knows who her Dada is. Something we're still working on with Isaac. He now calls us "MamaDada" or "honey" because were were always correcting him.
Jonathan fixed our car (the civic)! He bought an online part and fixed it himself saving us lots of money! I am so proud of him. And grateful that he is so smart and hardworking.
Life is still fantastic. I love having the van and doing so much swimming. The kids have been healthy and happy. Isaac doesn't throw such big fits anymore. He loves spending so much time outside and having fun with his friends. Learning to interact with the other little kids has been great for him.

Isaac a poopoo in the potty! I am so proud of him! He has gone poopoo 3x but he doesn't seem to get peepee in the potty yet but we're working on it. I am so happy about it. He is a great communicator now. He can say and understand so much! He is so good at sharing and snuggling and sleeping and I just love him! He goes right to bed and sleeps through the night and takes 3-4 hour naps. Aliie is one years old! Yay Allie! She can walk but just doesn't. Jonathan was watching them last night and said she was walking all over the place, but she won't for me. She took 16 steps and Jonathan said that was only a portion of what she was doing. And she said 2 when I count and when I say Allie she says, "No, No" Halarious. I can't remember if i mentioned that i'm helping with production the youth of our church are doing. There are 2000 youth doing a dancing and singing show and they will have a few days of learning and doing fun activities as well. I have spent months tons of hours finding volunteers and coordinating practices and relaying information and stuff. And this weekend is the production! I am so excited to see it! I went last night to help and Jonathan is there all day today helping with food and security and the an service project their doing. And tomarrow we get to watch the show! I am so excited. It is going to be amazing! Jonathan is almost done with the Patio! He is putting on the shingles. The state of texas is doing a energy efficent effort so someone is coming and blowing free insulation into our attic. Yay. Between the patio and and the insulation our bill should be a lot lower! yay! And my mom gave allie a pool for her birthday and we are loving it! It is such a fun activity and it keeps us nice and cool in our 100 degree weather. We are having a blast. We went a visited Jonathan at work for father's day and went to the mall and played in the indoor playground and got some food and took isaac to the toy store. It was so fun. Julie Colton is in town and we've enjoyed spending time with her and Abbie and the rest of the Coltons. I was trying to get Abbie to smile for the picture and I made her cry. Ooops! We are just having a blast. The kids are so happy and behaved and we're having so much fun.

Isaac Highlight

Isaac is getting older! He grew out of his old cloths and he is talking a lot and making friends. He is sharing with Allie and asking mama for things instead of crying (not everytime!). I love to see him make friends and play with other kids. He is really nice to other kids. And he can count to ten! Its funny to hear him when he's by himself, "one two three five six nenen eight ninen ten" But if I count with him can do four. He loves to say grandma. I'm not sure if he's asking for grandma or he just loves to say it. His fit throwing has gotten much better. I have learned to be consistant and patient and help him feel like it is his choice to do what I want him too. He does refuse to go to bed sometimes and that is why I have so many pictures of him asleep on the couch. He loves to play in the new van and go places. It is getting a bit hot for the playground but Grandma Parks got Allie a pool for her birthday! Its the kind that adults can sit (not stand) in with their kids. So its fun because we can all go out together - to be outside having fun but keeping cool! As for the patio - it is getting there! It rained for a week and then we were really sick and then when Jonathan dove right back into it he cut his finger on the table saw. That was a huge blessing because any run in with a table saw could easily result in losing a finger or hand. We are very grateful that it is healing and now he's doing other dangerous stuff like climbing on top of the structure to work on the roof. I am scared. The other day I saw him hop the latter along while on the tippy top so he didn't have to get down and move it...i let him know how i felt about that. : ) He is working really hard. I guess its weed season and he is pulling like crazy. A section of our front lawn was really bad (we bought it real bad) so we just pulled everything and reseeded. Hopefully that will turn out well! Today I'm gonna work on the big prickly weeds in our back yard that just went crazy. Allie taking steps! She has taken up to 8 but averages around 3. But she is working on it! She will not take steps when we prop her up and try to have her go to her momma or dadda. She will only do it when she wants too, but that is quite often. She just gets up and takes steps! She has started to choose to play with toys insted of momma but only once or twice. She is getting older! She Turns one this month! So I have been sooooo tired. Both my kids sleep through the night and I get plenty of rest and I"m still so tired and I've gained weight so....I now go running with a friend at 6:30 am everymorning. I've only been doing it for a few days but the results have been great! I am awake and happy and have more energy! I think it helps me get a better sleep as well as the other benefits of exersizing. And then I can spend time with Jonathan in the morning before he goes to work. I had been thinking about running for a while now but I finally got the inspiration I needed when someone at church asked me if I was pregnant and when I said no asked me if I was sure. I started running the next morning! : )
