I may have taken a few too many pictures this weekend. : ) Allie is one year old! Go Allie! She hasn't had the best turning of age with 4 shots, her blood drawn and a 3 day long fever, but she did have a great weekend! Her Birthday party was great. We got in the pool and fired up the grill and watched Tangled. The boys had a video game bonanza. It was lots of fun and the food was great. We were going to throw another party on Forth of July but conveniently someone else threw a party and invited all the same people so we all decided to go there insted (they weren't as the same time but I was glad for the excuse not to host or buy food for another party.) They had chicken and stake fajitas a big pool and a playground in their backyard. It was awesome. We all had fun but especially Isaac. He played with 2 boys his age and they had non-stop fun on the playground. We went to a flag raising in the morning and Isaac was in the bike Parade. He was in Heaven. Riding his red BMW all around the parking lot instead of the living room. Then we went to a morning pool party and then the pool party I just mentioned. We had the best day. Isaac loved it the most.
Potty training is going well, he's been able to keep a clean diaper in the morning time. He knows a lot more objects then I thought. He doesn't always respond when we work on things with him but then he knows what they are later. I guess its sinking in!
Allie is a great walker. She can walk the whole length of the room and turn around. She still chooses to crawl most of the time. She says more words and I think she knows who her Dada is. Something we're still working on with Isaac. He now calls us "MamaDada" or "honey" because were were always correcting him.
Jonathan fixed our car (the civic)! He bought an online part and fixed it himself saving us lots of money! I am so proud of him. And grateful that he is so smart and hardworking.
Life is still fantastic. I love having the van and doing so much swimming. The kids have been healthy and happy. Isaac doesn't throw such big fits anymore. He loves spending so much time outside and having fun with his friends. Learning to interact with the other little kids has been great for him.
