better

Well, I'm still pretty sick, but I can get out of bed. I keep most of my food down and I can mostly make food. I am sooooo grateful for all the help people gave us while I was sick. My Mommy and Daddy took care of me and my kids for 2 weeks when my sweet husband drove us down to St. Louis and dropped us off. Then my friends took turns watching Isaac during the day. And Jonathan's mom would pick us up food once a week. And when we all had the flu she was getting us popsicles and soup. It is overwhelming how kind and willing to help everyone has been. And Jonathan has been so patient and has been picking up my slack. Happy Birthday to Jonathan today! St. Louis was fun despite feeling terrible. We went to Purina farms one morning and Isaac and Allie pet the pigs and milked the cows and had lots of fun. I sat on the front porch and watched them run in sprinklers and ride the see saw and drive the play cars and fun things like that. Allie prefered Grandma over mama by the end of the trip. : ) Isaac can talk in full sentences although he usually prefers not to. But it is helpful when I just don't know what he wants and he gives up whining and says, "I don't want that. I want milk" And when Jonathan was going to park in the back alley way insted of the front of the house Isaac let him know they were "going the wrong way" He is way to smart. He's discovered the making Allie cry makes mommy get up. And that pretending he doesn't know what people are saying helps him get away with a lot. When I told him he couldn't have more fruit until he finished his sandwhich he shared his sandwhich with Allie. He has certainly outsmarted me a few times. Baby Micaela is growing just fine. The days I'm extra sick I figure she's getting some extra growing in. : )
