Isaac is really growing! He has figured out how to get all the rings in order on his ring stacking toy. It is great to see him really understanding and figuring it out. We got so excited when he learned that he would would do it over and over and we would give him big hugs and kisses and tell him he did a good job and he would say, "did it!" That fixed the rift in Isaac's relationship with his Mom after Allie was born. We are all happy and love eachother. In Fact Isaac even told me that he loved me. He says, "thank you" "your Welcome" "i love you" "did it!" and more. He has also figured out how to open the front door! It was exciting when he learned to open it from the outside, but just scary now that he can open it from the inside! We keep the door locked but every once and a while he sneaks out! The picture of the monkeys on his bottom are the cloth diapers my mom made for us. We really appretiate it because cloth diapers does save a lot of money! And the ones she made are easy to use and cute!
And we have a great update on the home. We purchased the home "as is" There were no major problems so we had no problem with that. The last time we went to look at the home they had fixed things! For example they replaced the posts on the front porch that had some roting on the bottom with brand new ones! There was a small whole in the living room that they patched up and more things that we were planning on fixing were just taken care of. It ends up the city of plano sent the home owners a list of things they needed to fix because this is plano and you have to keep your home up to the standard! We could hardly believe it. They are still working on more things and we are getting a free upgrade on our home! There is some rule about real estate that you can't earn over a certain percent in flipping a home so i guess that has to do with it too. I guess they have to put a certain amount of the money in the home so they aren't earning to much. I think that makes it a win-win situation. If that is the case, they earn the max amount on the house and we get an upgraded home at a discounted price!
I think Allie is finally waking up which means I'm getting less sleep. Last night she was just content to stay awake but not to be left alone. I'm tired. But i got a nap. Scottrade sent us a Scottrade onsie and build-a-bear as a congrats gift. We love Scottrade.
The Colton's are all in town! Julie and Tyson and Bruce and Katie are all in town and we had a bbq at our apartment yesterday! We have a bbq pit in the pool area and we were the only ones there at night. It was really fun! Julie's new baby Abbie is really cute and Bruce and Katie brought lots of neat things back from China including a really funny hat and pair of shorts that I"ll need to take a picture of!
